Sprocket fit question

Are the sprockets the same shaft size from year to year?

Front sprocket is the countershaft sprocket. But sorry; can't answer your question. If you search parts lists you might find if they use the same part number for the different years.

They don't because the pre-gens use two bolts and a plate to retain the sprocket while the new gens use a large nut on the output shaft.

The countershafts use the same output bearing which means the shaft is the same size. However, this doesn't say anything about tooth count or shaft diameter reduction where the sprocket sits.

In short, I don't know either.

JT Sprockets lists different part numbers in their catalog for the front sprocket. The rear has the same part number for both generations.

so I would guess they are different.

The sprocket shaft is the same size, both will fit on both shafts, but the newgen and pregen have different offsets, so get a 07 previous for pregen and 08 newer for newgen.

I'm considering going -1 on the front. It's a race only bike now.
