Just wondering; what's a fair price for a dyno run? When I talked to the shop that I go to the day after thanksgiving, the owner told me it was $50 for a base run just to see where I'm at with A/F and all that fun stuff. Seems not too unreasonable to me. I assume that means it would take about a half hour. Does that seem high or is that about right?

west coast GP cycles. Andy has a really good baseline setup for the new ninja, got my bike to 31 hp with like 3 dyno pulls. Good price too!

If you're coming from Carlsbad than Cyclemall is closer than West Coast GP but you're only looking to do runs right? If not, Andy at WCGP does good work too if you don't mind driving down another 30 miles.

$50 is too high IMHO.

I'd say $30-$40 is the norm for two runs.

dude, that 2012 cbr was the FIRST ride in the US on track, and Jeff Tigert had nothing but good things to say about it. He completely blew by me on the outside of riverside with toe practically on the ground on OEM tires! Said the ABS on it worked really well, traction and wheelie control were non-intrusive and it was easy to ride. Maybe he's getting paid...

Jeff Tigert is Honda's test rider. He's also the 2010 AFM Formula Pacific and Cal State Championship Champion. The guy is a beast.

One thing he won't tell you are lies about a bike. If it's a POS then he'll tell ya. Then again you're talking about a guy who'll set lap records on any bike he gets on...including our 250.

All I know is as soon as I looked at it and said holy Sh!t that things beautiful Tige was like yeah and it's not even out yet so you didn't see that... Jeff immediately got on it and rode away. And I was foaming at the mouth - that thing looked killer.

Too bad you're not in norcal. Factory Pro is right around the corner from me. I hear they know their way around an ex250.

Alex, I don't have any info about where to get a dyno run, but I wanted to congratulate you on using a capital letter.
