Fork oil

Found that my left fork seal is leaking after low siding and decided it was a good time to upgrade the front suspension. I ordered .75 race tech springs along with new seals and bushings but don't know what weight/brand/ fork oil to pair it with and a good starting oil level? I'm 145-150lbs no gear, track only.

Check the "similar threads" entries listed below these two postings.

If it were me, I'd go for a 10 or 15 weight fork oil.

If your looking for better dampening, I'd go with Ricor INTIMINATORs

http://store.ricorshocks.com/product...20-1001nin.htm

If those are not within your budget, the I'd start with 15w synthetic fork oil, and work from there.

fork oil . . .

Factory specs call for 10 weight oil & 106-110mm from the top of the oil to the top of the fork tube, with the fork compressed, no spring. If you are not comfortable with doing the work yourself, get experienced help.

If you are not installing any emulators, you could use 12.5W or 15W at stock air gap. I use Maxima Racing (Blue Bottle) OR Torco. Honestly, BelRay/Maxima/Torco are all good brands.

I like the way you think! Plus you'll have enough oil to do the fork again in a few years (or do another bike...).

I believe so, but double check with the manufacturer.
