Back in the game!

I ended up getting a bike today.

A 2007 Suzuki Boulevard C90. Under $5,000, with a free disc lock, inspection, and oil change as well.

1500cc's of cruiser goodness, shaft drive too. The VTX was passed on because it had straight pipes. Way too loud for me. Sounded great, but way too loud. I like the EFI too. Need to tweak the windscreen a bit, but all in all it is in solid shape. Rides great. Corners nicely for a heavy bike too. An excellent bike on blah roads as well. Does a part of me still wish I got a sporty bike, sure. But I cannot pass up the deal I got on this. Needs a touch louder exhaust and I'll be really happy.

Next upgrade: tail light stuff. Want a bit more visibility from the rear.
Also: charging port for my phone. And a bar bag as well to hold my phone, a little toolkit, and garage opener.

Seems like it's the opposite of your other 2-wheel vehicles.
Hope to see those model photos soon..

Totally opposite. I went by feel with this one and it has a nice character. Smooth, yet has some quirks that I rather like. I was tempted to go after a triumph they had on the lot, but that was $2k more. So I just went with this one.

The more I ride it the more sure I am that I made a good choice. I'm enjoying the cruiser life. Corners very easily and plants itself nicely. Responsive for a big bike too. Going to hook up my USB charging port this weekend, and I'll be set for longer rides.

Next non-bike item to get is a Bluetooth headset for the helmet.

Oh and yes, I already have a model friend who has DEMANDED that she gets to pose with my bike. Haha
