new springs, emulators, springs sound noisy?

I did springs and emulators today, everything went text book.

After i got the forks back on other things back on, clip-ons, front wheel ect...

I bounced the front end as much as i could with out front brakes as i have not put that back together yet. The compressing rebound feels good but i can really hear the springs in there against the fork tubes?

IDK, maybe it is just me, because i am listening so closely

... did you put oil in?

usually if you hear the fork scraping inside it means your stanchions are bent.

definitely put in oil. nothing bent.

I will take the caps off tomorrow and take a look. Perhaps the top of the springs isn't well lubricated which would make sense from the way i did things.

Perhaps my cut spacers are not 100% square and they are pushing springs to one side?

i would think it is an issue with the spring not being centered over the bottom valving assembly stuff... it would need to be off center at both ends to bind much and be making any noise
