Boot suggestions?

So I am looking at buying my first pair of boots. Anyone have any suggestions? Looking for something that is going to be comfortable, breathable, and hold up well in a crash. Looking to spend someone around $200.

a few that I am looking at are..

The only problem with those, is that I am a size 45, and they only have 44 and 46.

Just my $.02, but I've got A* smx-2 boots, which are 3/4 length and I love them. They cover the ankle, and are very comfortable. They're just like the smx-4's with the top cut off. They're the cheapest at newenough.com for $170.

I've had two of my buddies with damages to their ankles within six months, both from motorcycle accidents. Ankle protection = #1 priority for me.

Don't think you can go wrong with Alpinestars or Sidi.

I'm currently using Thor 50/50 's (good for MX too)
damn good boot IMO
a moderately low boot with good foot & ankle protection

but if you don't Thor, Sidi makes some awesome boots and the Alpinestars

i have the alpinestars smx-5 vented boots. they are perforated and very comfortable. no problem walking around with them. also, they are easy to get on and off. these are my first pair, so i have nothing to compare them to. still, i would get them again.
