Handlebar options

I recently severely bent my left handlebar and need a replacement. I'm thinking of replacing both since they were both slightly bent from previous spills.

Are there any aftermarket options? I was thinking of those one piece "straight" bars used on DS bikes.

Anyone here run aftermarket and feel the OEM ones are better and/or cheaper?

get yourself a set of clipons, they'll likely be cheaper than stock bars and improve the positioning for you. Also if you go down again they're cheaper and easer to replace. You just have to replace the bar rather than the bar and clipon like the OEM ones, which are one piece.

Any specific recommendations? Did you buy yours in the GTA or order online?

I've got the woodcrafts and bought them online. Best bet for you would be www.bluestreakracing.ca, they're in Ontario. The woodcraft clipons retail for 170 and free shipping. To get OEM bars from the dealer here are $106 a piece...not a good deal. Where are you located exactly?

Sweet. I'm around Streetsville. Britannia and Creditview. I'd ride myself to check it out but my bike is nowhere near riding condition right now. I'd love to take a look at the clipons in person, at your convenience, if you're ever in the area. And you can see what a bike that highsided off wet streetcar tracks looks like.
