Pirelli Sport Demon Tire Upgrade

Gonna drop a fast question in here. Love the Pirelli Sp.Demon handling on my 2007 N-250. Now with this 2009 - N250 want to upgrade the tires asap to same Pirelli's. Anyone know if I can upgrade both front and back from stock 130 70/17 rear to Pirelli 140 70/17 rear and front 110's to the 120's? I'd like to order this week... anyone have any knowledge about this size up?

You can, but neither Kawi nor Pirelli recommends those larger tires on the existing ninjette's rims. Both sizes will slow the steering down, and wear may be faster then expected due to a non-standard profile (sidewalls pinched in, causing center of tire to be somewhat taller than tire is designed for). The sport demons are available in the recommended sizes, and will provide the best handling and overall performance in those sizes.

The other thing you have to watch out for if you decide to buy those tires is that they will make the bike a bit taller which may pose a problem for verticaly challenged people.

+1 for stock size Pirelli's.
