What are you using for rain gear?

I've been riding the 2fiddy on a daily bases to work this summer, and I like it

So now I'm seriously thinking about extending my riding season into mid, maybe late November... but that means I'll need to get some decent rain gear for the Seattle rain...

I'm thinking about an Aerostich riding suit, or their two piece Transit leather suit, which is suppose to be waterproof... I was wondering what everyone else was sporting for rain gear...

Normally a parking spot personally, those little drops sting

I was given a full rain suit to cover my leathers, but for normal day to day rides I have TourMaster Flex pants that have an outer shell I can zip on and a TourMaster Jett jacket that I've stripped all the armor out of to wear over my Joe Rocket mesh jacket.

I really like the idea of the complete all weather textile suits, that are layered in such a way that you can use the same outfit for dead of winter freezing temps to baking hot surface of the sun temps and everything in between. Expensive up front but saves having to have options available to choose from.

IMO anyway.

I have the A* RJ-5 2-pc set. I now only use the top though since I got the Rev'it Axis overpants, which are waterproof.

I use -

I have the yellow and black one. It's amazing.

When I have it on I look absolutely ridiculous.

Just had a look at this suit... I think I may go with the H2O suit in the black/yellow also

i have http://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/f...tion-rain-pant and for under 20bucks they cant be beat.

theyre massive so you can have ur work clothes under the pants and they will fit over just fine.

the only real issue ive had with them is that the exhaust burns em easy lol..so towards the bottom/rear part of the leg theres a few holes from hitting the exhaust.

other than that though theyre fcking amazing for waterproof pants.

*edit* the 1star review is meh. I bought my pair before the rain season started and wore them through the entire season here in CA.

I have a Teknic Freeway touring jacket and pants, both say they are waterproof. both have been tested and the claims hold true. Riding on the highway for an hour in heavy rain with no leakage. My boots did start to leak after 45 min though, they're icon accelerant boots, but thats been fixed with Nikwax waterproofing.

Frogg Toggs Hogg Togg, black and lime. Used them on on my ride back for, Deals Gap from Kentucky to Cincy is some pretty heavy rain and they kept me nice and dry.

For the past 3-4 years I had the $40 two-piece from leatherup. It is no longer waterproof but still nice for those sub-freezing days (still pretty warm and windproof!)

On the advice from folk at advrider I sprung for the Triumph Chevron one-piece. Haven't had good rain here in awhile so I can't speak to water proof-ness but it is the easiest suit I've ever put on. That's half the battle for me; by the time I stop and pull out the gear I gotta think about awkwardly pulling the crap on so I'd rather just get wet. This is easy, I'm rather fond of it.
