most miles travelled on 1 full tank?

what's the most miles you've gone done on one full tank? add details on riding style and commute type city/hwy.

so far longest i've managed is 166 miles on one full tank. i like to ride her hard, all the way to redline as much as i can. mix of city/hwy commuting to work.

I've done around 230 and that was 90% highway 10% city.

I usually fill up at the end of the workweek so I usually don't go over 200 on each tank and I add 3.xxx gallons to fill.

250! When it was bone stock and I was learning, it returned about 63 mpg. I got to the reserve at 250. Now I fill up at 200 and it works great.

I always fill up at around 200 miles. My commute is mostly highway, but I'd peg the entire 50+ miles one way as 40% city/60% hwy.

I think the most I've pulled out of a full tank of gas was around 220 miles.

I typically get about 200 per tank... depends on how I ride... I get a little more if it's just back and forth to work. I live and work on a military base, so no hard riding there and I only live 10 miles from work.

The most i've ridden on a single full tank was 181. Filled back up with 3.64 gals. I rarely ride to anywhere near empty.

Just did 250 miles on a single tank coming back from a trip to St. Simon's Island, GA. Was an awesome trip running through the backroads of GA. Ran 55-75mph pretty much all the way. Bike has 20,000 miles on it. Bone stock.

Just bear in mind that at 250 miles, it was down to running on fumes...literally. I could feel it starting to starve out as I pulled into the gas station.

I'd say 200 is pretty safe, unless you are really aggressive with the throttle. Your mileage may vary. LOL

I've gone 187 miles on a tank. I definitely could have gotten past 200 though cause when I filled up it took 3.6 gallons.

Furthest I went was 185miles on 3.30 gallons, so I could have easily broken 200..extrapolating..could have gotten 269 miles theoretically.

On a different ride, I went on one long continuous no traffic ride and got 174 miles on 2.8 gallons, so extrapolating that, I could have gotten just shy of 300 miles on a tank.

However, I won't ever see those numbers because I'd rather not run the risk of running out, so I always fill around 175miles or so.

My record is 220 miles before having to switch to reserve and find a gas station. This was mostly steady highway riding.

The most miles I had from one tank was 267.9 from a 4.2 gal fill up. I was trying for best mpg that tank though. I rode 90% surface streets and 10% highway. On surface streets I kept it to 40-45 mph and on highway 60-65 mph. I coasted to stop lights and shifted at 5-6k. The bike is stock (except for frame sliders and tail bag, lol).

I've pushed 230 before filling up. I looked in the tank and saw a bit of gas still which makes me think I could get near 250. It was probably close to 65mpg. This was early on in my motorcycling life when I was afraid to push the higher RPMs and was easy on the throttle.

According to my mpg app, best run was 213 miles and I average about 53 mpg. Though I usually fill up before its empty (typically around the 200 mark) so never really pushed to see her true range.

When I first got my new gen the reserve was one of the first things I looked for. Le sigh, not to be had.

Anywhere between 130 to 220 miles - depending on road and riding conditions.

I think half the gas evaporates and vents through the gas tank...and mocks me by that annoying gas tank whistle....lol
