Scorpion SERKET Full System - BEAUTIFUL

I just installed on my daughter's Ninja what may be the only Scorpion SERKET Full System for the 250R in the U.S. At least that's what the U.S. distributor told me. They don't see a big enough market for the pricey and beautiful exhaust so they don't import them. But I was able to special order the system. After three weeks and a 45 minute installation, the Ninja now has a deep growl to match its looks. It's a beautiful work of art that has a true race look with its raw metal (no chrome here!!), rubber insulated attachment springs (no clamps here!!), CNC'd bits, and carbon fiber. The up swept can's gorgeous carbon fiber shape flows with the modern body work of the little Ninja perfectly.

Instead of a gratitude, my daughter complained that it wasn't quiet anymore. Well, it is her bike. And, I have to respect that. I paid over a $1,000 plus shipping. I literally just started the Ninja in the garage to hear it. I'd say a total of ten minutes of the engine running. Now it's for sale. Search YouTube for the sound of this awesome exhaust.

I'm unsure as to why one would be so surprised considering it's a full system. It's not so often people buy quiet aftermarket exhausts! It sure looks pretty, though.

The thing you're referring to is a dB killer. I do have an inquiry with the distributor regarding this. It didn't come with one which is surprising because most modern aftermarket systems includes the option to remove the dB killer. The full Arrow system actually enhances/increase the horsepower with its dB killer installed. So that goes to show you that proper flow restriction, and in this case with a lesser exhaust growl, is good for performance. The lil' Ninja was rejetted right off the showroom floor with a DynoJet Kit. My daughter's bike has enough farkles . . .

DynoJet Jet Kit
Smog Removed with SSR Block-off Plate
Galfer Brake Pads
Vortex Clip Ons
Race Tech Fork Springs
SSR Fork Pre Load Adjusters
SSR Fuel Cap
Stainless Steel Brake Lines
Adjustable Rear Sets
Targa Fender Eliminator
Scorpion SERKET Full System (for sale, PM me if you're interested.)

Waiting for:
VROSSI 7-Spoke Wheel Set
Bridgestone BT003 150/60 and 110/70
GSXR-type Swing Arm Cover with Hugger

My problem is that I can't leave any of the bikes (and cars!) in the garage in stock form. If you look at my bike list . . . none are bone stock. When I'm not messing with the Ninja, I'm messing with my latest aquisition . . . a Ducati Monster S4RS:

LOL . . . besides the Ninja and the Monster, all the other bikes were sold. I was fortunate to make money off the bikes even as mod'd.

This is when I had BOTH my 998 and R1 . . . the Ninja has been around the longest. My current Monster is a blast to ride . . . almost as fun as my daughter's Ninja

I was thinking of getting this exhaust (I'm based in the EU so the local dealer has them here) haven't seen one in person yet, I was wondering what is the end cap of the can made out of?

By the way the is supposed to come with a db killer it says so on their website:

The end cap is plastic. The main body is one of the most beautiful carbon fiber pieces I've seen. Though very expensive, the system's design execution and quality is the best I've seen. I've had a few: Akropovic, Termignoni, Arrow, etc. This is the best looking full system for the little Ninja. There are full systems that perform just as well, but looks and quality were important factors in my choice, no matter the price (within reason).

The U.S. distributor is shipping me the dB killer.

Shucks my LV One carbon just pales in comparison. That is indeed one of the most beautiful pipes i have seen. Maybe the dB killer will help.

Since Scorpion UK is shipping a dB killer, the SERKET full system is staying on the bike. The workmanship, the materials, and especially the look can't be surpassed. Now that I've installed 6-spoke VROSSI wheels with the 4.5 inch wide rear rim and Bridgestone BT003 street/race tires (150/60 rear), the look and especially the handling performance is complete. The lil' Ninja is AMA Superbike or World Superbike aggressive looking.

Here's the final mod (farkle to you forum guys) list:

- DynoJet Jet Kit, with Snokel Removed
- Smog Removed with SSR Block-off Plate
- Scorpion SERKET Full System
- Driven Front Drilled Sprocket, Cover Removed
- Drive Systems Ultra Light Rear Sprocket
- RK 520 X- Ring Silver Chain
- Stainless Steel Brake Lines
- Galfer Brake Pads
- Vortex CNC Race Clip Ons
- Race Tech Fork Springs
- SSR CNC Fork Pre Load Adjusters
- SSR CNC Fuel Cap
- CNC Adjustable Rear Sets, with GP Shift
- CNC Adjustable Shorty Levers
- Targa Fender Eliminator
- VROSSI 6-Spoke Wheel Set, 4.5 Rear
- Bridgestone BT003 150/60 and 110/70
- GSXR-type Swing Arm Cover with Hugger
- Race Style Trimmed Front fender
- Custom V-Screen
- Custom Cut Tank Slapper Protection
- MAYBE a rear shock replacement in the future

Wow, not sure what else you can do to the little ninja :P, the only reason I'm holding off on the full exhaust right now is cause I would probably have to get a Power Commander to go with it as well. Good thing you managed to get that DB killer, would have been a shame to have to sell such a nice exhaust.

LOL ... I just found that something else to add to the list. An AirTECH belly pan. Too bad we don't have FI in the States like everywhere else in the world!!

All are, or were, my favorite!! I must say that my daughter's lil' Ninja is really, really fun to ride eventhough it's the slowest! It's so much fun to tip into the corners! As the old saying goes . . . "It's so much fun trying to ride a slow bike fast than it is to ride a fast bike slow."

Cockpit

I'm still deciding on installing the KOSO dash. The original is simple and does its job.
