where to source side panel grommets
I been checking local hardware stores for grommets for the two smaller tabs and larger one that connects fuel tank with no luck bike bandit wants $4 each and grommet suppliers want you to buy least a 100.
Anyone know a better source or have some extras laying around for sale? |

How about a Kawasaki dealer? They'll be the proper ones. I don't understand why people are so reluctant to go to the dealer for parts, but will spend time scouring the internet for a substitute, pay shipping, and hope it fits.

i bought a crappy china grommet kit in a little tackle box for 6 bucks on amazon, the two grommets that hold the sidecovers to the tank came from there.
the grommets that hold the back of the sidecover into the frame, i had to buy them from cacawacky the six dollar grommet set has come in handy lots of other places, it makes me want to put lots of grommets on stuff just because i can, which i think is a good thing. Just last night i was installing a trailer hitch connector in my truck and i was like 'if i get pulled over driving drunk because my tailight wire grounded out and get thrown in jail all because i didn't bother to install a 20 cent grommet, i'm gonna feel like a real dumbass' so i put grommets all over that bitch. |
