Can a shifter like this be used on our bikes?
I know ours has the adjustable linkage rod that runs between the shaft (that goes inside the engine), and the shift lever itself. This would eliminate the linkage rod and hook up directly to the shaft. So, I were to flip that shifter upside down, and tighten it to the shaft appropriately, it should work, no? Would it reverse the shifting? I.e. shift up to gear down and shift down to gear up... |

probably. you might have to bend it out just a little bit. and yes it would put it in "GP-shift"

If the offset and splines were right, you most definitely could.

It will be GP shift also it will be to long unless you have rear sets. If your not running rear sets try a shifter designed for a Honda 50.
