How low can brake pads get?

I posted earlier wondering if I warped my rotors. I have pics now. I am keeping the brake disconnected until my new ebc pads come in the mail. I'm really hoping I didn't ruin my rotors. I mentioned in my other post that I noticed my pads were gone by looking. I didn't have any braking issues really. However when I walk the bike it made a slight rubbing/grinding noise. Pads are obviously super low, is it possible I didn't do any rotor damage?

Your pads are gone. You may not have done any rotor damage if you stopped using the brakes soon enough, but any more brake contact from this point forward is metal on metal, which will quickly cause damage. Once the pads get down to 1 - 2 mm, it's time for a new set.

Looks like I may have gotten lucky, I think one more ride may have done me in. Here's a pic of rotors, pretty hard to see I think in the pic. But looks like your pads were in about the same if not worse condition than mine. So if your rotors are fine that makes me feel a lot better ha.

rotors are fine, burnish rotors when you install pads, and take it easy for first 100 miles or so, allow them to bed properly
