Destry Abbott to host one-hour private riding clinics

Irvine, Calif. (July 28, 2015) – The EnduroCross promoters are happy to announce that Destry Abbott will hold rookies classes at the upcoming Sacramento and Denver rounds of the 2015 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Championship. These one-hour, on-track instructional sessions will take place on the Friday night prior to each event and will include several other pro riders helping Abbott provide hands-on instruction.

The EnduroCross rookies classes are open to all amateur, vet or women’s class riders that have not qualified for an EnduroCross main event in the past. It is open to all brands of motorcycles. Riders can sign up online at https://secure.tracksideonlineresults.com/mmsx_ex/ and select the Sacramento or Denver event and then select “Rookie (Beginner)” class. Entered riders will meet at Destry Abbott’s DA8training.com team pit area at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Riders will be on the track with the five-time National Hare and Hound Champion and special guest pro instructors by 6 p.m. and conclude with a class photo on the podium.

“Destry Abbott is a great racer and equally good riding coach,” said Mike Karsting, VP of events for The Enthusiast Network, the producer of EnduroCross. “The rookies class is a great way for a rider to get a feel for the difficult EnduroCross obstacles with extra track time and help from Destry and several of the other top pro riders.”

The EnduroCross series is currently on a summer break and will return to action on Saturday, September 26 inside the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, Calif.
