Well guys, I am leaving the 250 family. Bike is on Craigslist. I'm sad, but it's time to move on. I had an awesome time with the bike over the last 2.5 years. I'm still down to ride though! Just say when.

Hey! This coming weekend is the Kawasaki demo day for DC in Bowie, MD.

April 21-22
signup starts at 8am
rides go from 9-4

I plan to head down sunday morning, 8am.

Anyone else thinking about going to this?

Would have been there until I injured my knee playing basketball.... awaiting an MRI to rule out anything. I still think I can ride though. I went to the demo last year and decided the 250r was perfect for me. This year, I wanted to try the ZX6-r and 650 but looks like I may just hold off until next year. :-/

Well it looks like I won't be going either. 100% chance of precipitation all day. I have no problem riding in the rain on a bike I know, however, riding a bike I'm unfamiliar with that is much more powerful is a no go for me. Might head up to the Philly one now.

I'm downtown, but if you guys set something up, let me know and I will join in. I posted a link to a group ride leaving from Chesapeake Cycles in Annapolis this Sunday, but I don't know if I will end up being able to attend. It looks like it'll be fun, but it's like 280 miles, so perhaps not the best idea if you're brand, brand new.

I'm a new member, but I live quite a bit south of you all. Its a 2 hour ride to DC I think. I'm near Richmond VA. Also I'm in the process of buying a 250 and doing msf course yet so technically I'm not a rider yet ha ha.

I do see a lot of people around here riding though.

I am headed up there for a buddy's bachelor party, but if some of you want to ride up/back, it'd be fun to have some company for the ride. I am leaving from DC and plan to take 50 over the Bay Bridge and then working my way to the ferry from Lewes, DE to Cape May. I want to avoid the slab route (95) because it is boring.

Oh definitely not. We're all staying overnight in one of the casinos. Just riding up on Sat morning and coming back on Sunday.

I saw in the ninja250forum people are meeting in Gettysburg at 10 am...that's a little too far, a little too early for me. LOL It's a ride in itself to get there from where I am (though would love to.)

Was looking for something a little more local to me.
