TOP 1 Oil Goes To Extremes At 2009 Dakar Rally

Nearly 3,750 miles (6,000 km) of challenging South American terrain on tap for Top 1 Oil sponsored Team Rally Pan AmericaBURLINGAME, Cal. (December 22, 2008) - Top 1 Oil Products Company has again joined America's premier motorcycle rally team, Rally Pan America, for the world's most grueling and challenging endurance race, the 2009 Dakar Rally. Now nicknamed "El Dakaro," the legendary competition has moved continents to South America where it starts January 3 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The Top 1 Oil sponsored Rally Pan America team is led by veteran rider Jonah Street and team manager and Dakar veteran Charlie Rauseo, along with an equally experienced support crew. The team will be up against a nearly 3,750 mile (6,000 km) torturous route that traverses the plains of Patagonia, the Atacama Desert and the Andes - all during equally extreme summer temperatures. The race concludes on January 17.
