Danmoto Jisu rubbing on brake line.

Has anyone installed the Danmoto Jisu? Mine clears the swingarm, but I noticed the rear brake line rests right on one of the edges of the exhaust can. I've ridden many miles and the exhaust is hot to the touch, but doesn't feel hot enough to melt the rear brake line.

Does anyone know if the heat from the exhaust will adversely affect the rear brake fluid or possibly melt the rear brake line?

It can't be a good idea. Any way to re-route it, even slightly? Can you post a pic?

I can take some pics tomorrow. The rear brake line is routed through those guides on the swingarm and doesn't give much play.

Looks like I might have to get some heat shield tape and wrap the brake line.

I have no problem with the rubbing. You can rotate the can around the pipe end and clear away from potential things that may rub.

It's all good now. After fiddling with the exhaust and brake line, got it all figured out.

Thanks All.

Just bend the metal holding the brake line

We need more/better clips of the Jisu, preferably not taken inside a garage! No offence Sean

I originally recorded it outside but it didn't transfer right, and it was already in the garage so I did it there. But I'll record a flyby and an outside idle/rev either tonight or tomorrow.

Link to original page on YouTube.

Recorded an idle/rev, but the video quality was questionable...so I'm gonna redo it soon.

Me gusta, I figure it can't be that loud (the exhaust) if I can still make out the engine noise. Sounds great
