I have had both Zero Gravity and Puig wind screens, but never Hotbodies. I can tell you that I really like Puig. It is more thicker plastic and just feels better. Just my 2c..

I can see through it no problem - on-lookers might not be able to see through it.

Dark smoke is'nt hard to see though. At night time it may be hard to see though it if your in a dark area.

I have the the hotbodies db in dark smoke. Its not hard to see through, granted I don't ride with a full tuck behind it. I probably would have gotten the puig but I got a sweet deal on the hotbodies from a vendor liquidating their stock. Actually my fiance took a video that is shot through the windscreen... its a little darker than the video shows.

I've got a hotbodies Dual Radius so my Garmin will tuck in all nice and away from my gauges. I like it. I've got the clear one...I was back and forth between the smoke and the green but in the end I'm glad I went with the clear one...it just looks great and besides..everyone else is running smoked screens. The green shield is a little too much green I think to be adding to an already green bike.
The stock shield and aftermarket shields differ in how they fit. The stock shield is shaped slightly different where the shield slides into the nose of the fairing. It has a raised lip where it fits into the fairing whereas the aftermarkets are the same thickness throughout. Not a big deal but a little noticeable. |

I recently ordered the hotbodies screen, mistakenly ordered it in clear, but the plastic thickness is good. When I called to have it swapped they said hotbodies makes both a black and dark smoke. the black is similar to paint, can not see through, but the dark smoke as to be expected is similar to the tent on helmets.

I recently got a black hotbodies windscreen for my bike. It is not see through. It's a black plastic. I used to have the PUIG dark smoke screen before that. The quality of the two are pretty identical. The one thing I didn't like about the PUIG screen was that the dark smoke version has a bit of a purple tint to it. Almost like bad window tint. Not what I was expecting when I ordered dark smoke.
Here's a pic of the PUIG screen. Kinda hard to tell the purple in it though. I don't have pics of the hotbodies one right now, but I can tell you that the hotbodies has a crease where the bubble begins, where the PUIG kinda just flows into the bubble. Both come with stickers, also!
