Who wants to borrow this video next...

oroboros has a copy of "Why They Ride: A Moto-Documentary" that he has been kind enough to lend out. Read more about it in this thread. I have finished watching the movie. It is an entertaining watch and gives some good footage of riding the Dragon.

The plan is now for me to mail it to the person who wants it next.

Post here that you want to borrow it and then PM me with your address and I will mail it to you. You then get the video, watch it, post here for the next participant and mail it to them. If I don't hear from anyone by the end of the weekend, I will just ship it back to oroboros.

I'm sending it to Jason today or tomorrow. YORCHI has expressed his interest in it. Perhaps he is next in line. I will leave that up to you, Jason, since you will have the torch next, so to speak.

And everyone remember, it is Drew's (oroboros) video. I just happened to borrow it first.

I got no problems footing the bill to ship it to Cali, and if he is nice enough to let me get it first I will ship it to him Priority.

well.... that's a slippery slope to infringing on the rights of these guys who produced the video and are trying to make a living. I feel fine about posting it here in the forum for those who want to watch it. Kind of like going to the library.

My original thread included the link to the website. If a few folks watch it and post about it at least it is evergreen content on the web and in turn it may drive more sales.

Drew beat me to it. I agree with him 100%. Borrowing a physical copy of the DVD and letting people borrow it is no different than going to a library or borrowing from a friend, which Drew obviously is to the Ninjette community. There is no profit to be made and therefore it is (usually) legal. Uploading and posting it online becomes a potential copyright infringement issue.

I almost bought the DVD when I saw how inexpensive it was, but with Drew offering to loan it and him being so close, I figured I'd probably only watch it once anyway, and took him up on his offer. With that said, I loved the video and I will definitely be interested in checking out future work from these guys.

Anyway, Jason, it is on its way to you. I documented the trip!

Watched it last night and I really enjoyed it. It is very inspirational with the stories and the people that frequent the Dragon. I will definitely be going there on my next trip to the Tennessee mountains!
