Totally out of context for the site, but when I find cool articles, I post them up anyways. Maybe the N250 is off the list because it does nothing wrong?

It may have affected weight distrubution in a negative way, but I don't ride 10/10ths EVER, so it matters little to me. The V4 in the V65 Magna was one of my all time favorites.

Made me smile, but don't take all of it as gospel. Most of the GP bikes voluntarily choose a V4 engine layout, as the fastest choice for the motorcycle.

However, the old warning about throwing stones in glass houses applies because there's definitely something approaching "comprehensive mechanical dysfunction" at work inside the engines on any of Triumph's cruiser-type bikes. |

for me, SSS (singlesideswingarm) is the most illogical amongst all.

I guess the Suzuki RG500 "Gamma" engine might qualify for an honorable mention in a list like this.

He's downing undertail exhausts? They're great. The extra heat and airflow keeps things powder-dry back there.
An undertail exhaust is effective at preventing both Swamp Ass and Monkey Butt. |

I guess that's the problem with the title the author chose for his article. He used the word "bad" but I don't think he meant it as an insult to any of the machinery (besides the Harley).
I never said there was something "bad" about it. But just as he points out about the V-4, the Gamma "square four" is complex and heavier than an inline 4 and it took Suzuki quite a bit of effort to make it competative. |

Boooooo.. I love undertail exhausts and single-sided swingarms, but only because they just look so damn good.
