Question Hotbodies Racing mgp growler exhaust

okay, so i have an mgp growler, and yes... yes... i know it is called a 'growler' for a reason... but i have to admit it can be annoying having this loud a$$ thing behind me, especially when im pissed off and i just want to go for a ride to get my mind off of life, but heres the thing, i love the exhaust, it makes my ninjette sound like a 'big boy bike' but i want to know if theres any way to modify it, and put baffles in the can to give it less of a growling sound and more of a sport bike, 'zoom' sound like a yoshi or two bros. i love the loudness, but hate the obnoxious noise, any ideas?

There's a baffle for the danmoto right? see about getting one of those and finding a way to install that into your can. I bet it's similar and do-able

I think putting the stock one back on will make it sound most like a 4 cylinder sport bike. All the aftermarket exhausts give this bike a deeper rumble... there's not one out there that makes it sound higher or rev quicker.

no ninja 250 will sound like 4 cylinder sport bike, no matter what exhaust system is on it.

It's a 180 degree parallel twin engine. Not an inline 4

I took my growler off too because of the same reasons. Put the stock can back on but I run with the K&N Pod filters and the noise that the intake makes when I get on it is just as cool as the aftermarket pipe lol. BTY the growler is for sale...

Put hard bags on the bike, it helps a little bit to block some sound. I found my growler to be quieter after several thousand miles. I used to have to wear ear plugs (should wear 'em anyway) but the can is way less piercing now.

I had the same problem... I got annoyed with the horrific loudness of the MGP Growler... so here is what I did about the problem:

BEFORE:

AFTER:

I always knew I wanted the Yoshimura full exhaust... but at first didn't want to spend the money... I should have just gone with the Yoshi first If you have the funds... you definitely won't be dissappointed... I even sold my MGP for most of what I originally paid

I know... not exactly the "fix" you were looking for...
