I wouldn't. It ain't about looks, it's about not skinning your butt up...

It's too slippery to use on motorcycle tires.

wash it off with something like dish soap or car wash soap.

It is surprisingly slick, and you won't realize you'll need the traction until you don't have it. If you're not going to make sure it's completely removed, make sure you are intensely careful around any corners for 100+ miles or so until you're confident it's completely gone.

That said, I still think it's a bad idea not to remove it completely. It's an unsafe condition, and it's a known condition; there are no surprises here.

Here's an example on this board from just a few months back.

Degrease and scrub the shine off, then soap it up and wash it again.

I know that dealers/factories use a grease of some sort to keep the tires fresh (so they don't dryrot and crack) and nice looking, which isn't the same as tire shine, right?

Either way, clean that **** off good if you value your bike, pride, and self.

If it is oil based shine used a lot of degreaser to get it off( still be extra careful when you ride)! Being it water based( the best I think, because easy to get off of things important), just use a lot of degreaser to get it off!! Ride safe. P.S. Anthill clean looking is as just as good-looking as a greaser!

I'm with the rest of them. Why take the chance? Get that stuff off asap. Personally, i'd go so far as to rub some sandpaper on them to scuff them up a bit more.

tire shine, ain't advisable, I wouldn't use it. Perhaps make do with soap and water...will bring out its natural shine...heheheh! ride safe..

Just be careful for a while. Key is to be smooth on the controls ALL the time.

As stated before, tire shine makes tires slick, which is why on cars you only put it on the outside of the tires and not on the traction part. On a motorcycle you can't really put it anywhere since you use the whole tire when you ride. I guess you could technically put it over your chicken strips, but you don't have very big ones, do you?

That should do the trick.
