I'd love to but I'm still too much of a scared bitch on mine and I'd just slow everyone down or be riding by myself after 3 miles. Maybe in November.

But screw that gay ****! I rode up to a place much farther than I had ever gone before with people I had never met, and I made some great friends out of it.

We will have designated meet up points so everyone can ride at their own pace, no pressure. A great way to get out and ride and meet new people. And hell I'm sure someone will volunteer to be a sweeper and follow the noobs and keep them safe

I'm really excited to do this, just not the time yet.

Being a dick on internet forums demands a certain skill set to do it right.

As far as riding blind, it is just something I wanted to do my whole life and I mustered enough gamesmanship and the right eye doctor to do my paperwork to make it happen. It is scary as hell but so far, totally worth it.

I'm in, depending on the date I will be there. I have to service my bike a bit after riding it to Kentucky and back but this will motivate me to get it done . I'll let Alan Smith know and see if he can make it too.

A ride to the Junction is always great if you are looking for suggested routes. We are blessed with lots of great rides here in the Bay Area.

I'm retired and only work part time. My August calendar is almost totally wide open so virtually anytime is good. At least if I put the ride on the calendar, my wife can't commit me to something else.

I haven't been down in the south bay area much so I'm not sure where any of this is, how long time or miles would this be.

I've been meaning to stop by Helimot and have Helmut look at my leathers so this would be a good excuse to ride out there. I think Helimot closes at 2:00pm on Saturday so I'd have to be back in San Jose by then.

The ride I am suggesting is pretty long and will take the better part of the morning. I am open to a shorter route if you wanted to visit Helmut's new shop in Fremont.

Haha they didn't even tell me they were thinking of moving last time I was there. Thanks for the heads up before I rode out there to an empty shop :lol

I just got off the phone with them and a Linda said it was one of those you got thirty days to vacate things becuase they sold the building

I don't mind it if the ride takes to long and I miss window with Helimot, I can just stop by another time. I'm also open to starting the ride earlier if you guys want, early rides have less cars
