Tranny or clutch?

My 1st time riding the bike in 4~5 months. The bike wasn't getting any power imagine going 60 or 40 in neutral so im red lineing it just to barely go the limit. So just passing the beltway 8 Im sure the tranny died on me since i was running her w/High RPMs and the chain was still on.Pushing her w/leathers was so fun..

I would start for servicing the lever and cable = cleaning, lubrication and adjustment.

If the problem persists, then surgery will be next:

Replacing the clutch plates is easy. 30 minutes. Expect to change the oil and have a new gasket ready. The oem paper gasket for that cover rips every time. The plates and spring kit from ebc is only like 60$

This. I don't see how yours could be worn so fast unless your clutch wasn't fully engaged.
