WHEN Suzuki pulled the Bandit name from its UK range there was a suspicion that it was throwing out one of its greatest assets – and now the firm has reconsidered the decision and will be bringing a revamped Bandit 1250S to this country in 2015.

The new machine is still largely familiar to anyone who’s ever seen the half-faired Bandit before, although there are updates including a redesigned nose fairing that now wraps around the sides of the radiator.

It’s still powered by the water-cooled 1255cc motor, albeit in the latest form to meet the most up-to-date emissions regs, and the chassis and suspension will be familiar to anyone who’s ridden a Bandit in the last few years.

The price, which is certain to be the key to the 1250S’s success or failure in its latest incarnation, won’t be announced until nearer it’s on-sale date, slated to be ‘early 2015.’
