Aki Ajo Replaces Francesco Guidotti As Red Bull KTM Factory Racing MotoGP Team Manager From 2025 KTM announced this morning that Aki Ajo is to take over the running of the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing MotoGP team from 2025. He is to take over from Francesco Guidotti, who has been in the role for the past three years.

The move had been rumored for some time. Reports that Guidotti would leave appeared some weeks ago, while news that Ajo would replace him emerged at the end of last week.

Guidotti's departure is part of a spate of restructuring inside KTM. The contracts of a number of figures are not being renewed, including Guidotti and former Ducati engineer Fabiano Sterlacchini.

This is part of a push by KTM to achieve the success they aimed for when they started the project. Although Guidotti has helped move the project forward, KTM's MotoGP goal of consistent wins and competing for championships remain just out of reach.
