Blacked out windscreen

Plasti dipped the inside surface of my windscreen today, and it turned out great. Took a total of about 7-10 coats before I couldn't see through it anymore when holding it to the light.

I actually used the rustolium rubber coating spray, their take on plasti dip. Seems to have worked as expected, and I love how it turned out!

I did something similar to my EX500, I used Krylon satin black on the inside of the screen, but one could use this old school trick to match the bike, or anything else that one wants.

But how do you see when you're tucked?

Looks good though!

I'm 5' 10, and even when I tuck down as far as is comfortable, I can still see over it. Maybe that'll change once I get some adjustable rearsets and my body angle changes a bit. :P

Btw, I think when wearing a helmet it's pretty difficult to actually see thru the windscreen enough to make it usefully anyway. Even my wife who is on the shorter side of average female height can't tuck her head behind it enough to effectively use it...

Dang OP, that looks slick on that red bike. The first time I saw the red 300 in person I thought they look much better than they photograph. But your photos do the red Ninja justice.
I went with a dark smoke screen on my Ninja, because I still wanted to be able to see through it. I don't really need to see through it, but I like to know that I can.
