Detent Arm #s

No-one replied in the other Fac/Pro post. The detent arm has a new part#-13236-0719 vs 13236-0797. Was it changed/improved to address the shifting issues or just a number update? I only happened on this while contemplating buying one and making my own bbrg arm. I'm old/retired & can't afford the trick one.

OOPS??!!

I goofed, the 0797 is for the versys version - 0775 is ninja update. Dang Oldheimer's bit me again. I haven't ridden mine enough to notice shifting issues. Can anyone say the '14 and up yrs improved that issue? If it does become a problem I'll buy a detent lever and graft a ball bearing on it.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

That may mean the issue is perhaps the lack of undercutting instead of the detent. I just visualized a shift while heeled over w gravity being involved w a particular gear(straw clutching by me). Guess we'll see how mine acts this Spring. All my riding these days is recreational so an occasional miss is no biggie. Thanks for reply, good luck this season.
