Talking Hello from las vegas!!!

Hey my name is missy and i am a proud new owner of a ninja 250. I just bought it today and am having it delivered tomorrow since it wasnt at the dealership. This is my first bike and i just learned how to ride last week.. I know its crazy. I went and took a motorcycle course and learned a lot and passed. So my boyfriend and i went out and bought bikes.. I know that you are supposed to start on an older bike. But thats not what we did. I am a tinkerbell collector so i love pixies and stars. Hopefully i will get to do something cool to my bike but for now its plain black. Not my favorite color but better than my other options.. White is where it is at for me. This is the first hobby that my boyfriend and i can do together. He plays paintball which i stink at and i am a craft kind of person scrapbooking to be exact. I also have my dogs which are my kids for the moment, 2 pits and a maltese. And i own 3 saltwater tanks. So i am excited about doing a hobby that we both enjoy!

Hopefully will have pics up soon.. I first have to get the bike!:d

Can't wait to see if you do a custom design/drawing on your fairings. Save up for it!

Make sure you sprinkle some pixie dust on that new bike for good luck. Black bikes are nice. You should get all white gear to go with the bike and keep you cool (not as cool as me though) in the desert heat.

Since this is both of your first bikes, make sure your boyfriend keeps that 600 under control.

Is he your fairy boyfriend?

Welcome to your nightmare. Bikes are addicting.

Hey Missy, welcome to the boards! +1 for starting with a safety course. Pretty cool that this is something you can do with your boyfriend. I was hoping the same for my wife and I when I got my bike but so far she hasn't gone on a ride with me Gear up and be safe!

By the way, you can check out this link for a thread with fish tanks where you can post a couple pics and share your expertise!
