Modern Day Cafe

I was wondering if there were any companies that offered (or maybe the brand names have some bikes I haven't heard of) that follow the cafe racer and 'old-school' bike style. I like the look and an addition of one to my garage seems imperative.

Royal Enfield is going to come up with one next year... That should be reasonably priced... I hope... *crosses fingers and other assorted parts of body*

Have a look at Deus customs.... Based in Australia but I think they have a Shop in the states and Indo too. You can either buy complete bikes or get cusyom Deus Parts. A bit pricey though.

If not just buy an old school cb125, yamaha sr400/500, kawasaki w650 there's so many you can choose and just cafe it out

Even those new 2012 Suzuki tu250x can be turned into a cafe racers

Most of triumph's bikes follow the cafe racer style.

Triumph has the Bonnie and Thruxton as well. Kawi had the W650 I think it was called that would fit nicely in that mold.

Triumph thruxton is legit! It looks legit, its throttle bodies look like carbs to keep things modern but still old school, and it sounds beautiful. I've also heard it's no slob in the turns.

Thruxton definitely caught my eye. Maybe I can find a used one around here locally, 8.7 is a little more than I want to drop on a 'I ride this to be a badass bike'

Guzzi has one, might bump it a few HP in 2013 as its a low powered, softly sprung bike. looks cool though.

No they don't.

Some do.

Daytona

Tiger

street triple

Sprint 1050

speed triple

Rocket III (2.3l I3)

Thunderbird

None of the above look anything like a cafe racer,

The thruxton & bonnie look the part.

Ducati Paul Smart 1000 LE, not quite a cafe racer but a classic racer style bike.

Cleveland CycleWerks does a bobber and a cafe. Both have modified 250cc Lifan engines, look badass, are American-built, $3195 MSRP, and have gotten good reviews.
