Just like at the end of the video, you always have "spare" parts left over.

This is a great video. I sent it to my dad.

I recently re-installed my air box. I know there's at least one screw missing because I found it on the garage floor when i was cleaning up yesterday morning There's no way that air box really needs 10 screws holding it together.

Just remembered, a family friend has an old TR6 that he started as a project car, then kinda put into the shed and forgot about. It ran (albeit poorly) and it looked like a fun project.

Maybe I should go bug him about it and see if I can help work on it this summer/buy it off him after I graduate from school.

I had a TR6 also but it's a completely different car. TR3A was my favorite. Cool looking classic.

To just fully hijack this thread: If you don't mind telling me, what did you like about the TR3A? Don't get me wrong, I'm just curious. I've never driven one.

Did it handle better than the TR6?

I have a soft spot for Austin Healey's. Beautiful little cars. All this talk about about vintage sports cars and now I really want to get one...

TR3A was my first car. No power, OK handling, many memories. It had the beautiful lines. I had a Jaguar XK150S also. Kinda the same look. Beautiful late 50s look. TR6 was a square box. Had some power and handling but wasn't beautiful.

Can't believe they went through the trouble of doing NDT on the header and then didn't even ceramic coat it or anything.
