finally got most of my stuff in the mail. Installed flushmount signals from modmy250.com, integrated tail light from bikelitez.com, and a 6 piece set of led underglow lights inside the farings from ledglow.com. pics tonight once it gets dark

now im just waiting on my mgp growler, my bikelitez undertail, and my koso rx2n.

I like this LED underglow lighting stuff.
I personally got to play with Kevin's rig.
The glow light on/off button in the frame cap was genius.
I wonder if I can get away with glow lights now that I'm turning it into a stunter.

Adjusted my rear suspension one click tighter from completely loose.
Made it an entirely different bike... woke up the rear end quite a bit.

Installed a new right handlebar, new grips and right brake lever on Adrian's bike and also adjusted his suspension one click tighter in the rear. Watched Kevin install Adrians rearsets and then I used my tender to charge a new battery for Adrian's bike and installed that too.

ruined Adrian's stock bar ends pulling them off and discovered his new ones don't fit either so put the stock ones back on for now. =P

Discovered he needs a new throttle cable and I have to adjust his steering play again too.

That was just half the fun...then we headed to Inn and Out where Kevin made a spectacle of himself pullling into where people eat so he can "park"

We then headed to Bert's Motorcycle Mega Mall and drooled over bikes we want...Kevin again made a scene as he honked a horn on a 30,000 Cam AM or whatever they are....

Then Kevin and I hit GMR and Mount Baldy......

The rearsets were strange...gotta learn the bike over again!

Order the throttle cable. The handlebar bend broke the barrel adjuster and your shyt is just flopping around. No bueno. Clock is ticking. Let me find you a part number and a link.

We shoudl check your chain slack and coolant too.

Ouch
Backorder.
http://cheapcycleparts.com/model_yea...semblies/25665
Pn# 54012 $20

Try ebay and others. Get that cable I'll swing by and install it.
Without it your barrel adjuster flops around and can't give you the proper amount of slack/play on your throttle grip.

They made a short throw too on the shift, felt nice.
My woodcrafts with the stock shift lever don't do that.

Made my bike un-ride-able for the day!!! Trying to change headlights out and I got H4s instead of H7s. So bike is sitting half gutted for the day until I can go exchange the lights.

Ps- who was the genius that thought it was a good idea to design these bikes so you have to take them to almost full naked to change a light???

you shouldnt have to pull anything off to change the bulbs.. i didnt have to take anything off to do my HID's.. just move the handlebars all the way to one side and reach your hand down there and pull them out.. best to get a visual of what your doing first but its pretty simple.

LOL that is not what I want to hear there Ed

Anyway since she's naked now, figured I re-run my wire for the gps. I previously just tucked into the cracks between fairing and tank.

Edit: since I had her stripped I went ahead and changed out the dash lights too... she's all buttoned back up and ready to roll

I don't see the need to change the oil that quick .. When i changed my oil for the first time at 600 it was perfectly clean .. didn't even have any shavings that I could see in it. And it wasn't babied the first 600 either, ride home from the dealer was hitting 10k rpm .

on Thursday I took her for a good ride, stabilized the gas, drained the carbs, cleaned and lubed my chain, changed the oil and filter, cleaned her off real nice with simple green, then put the battery on a charger, jacked her up on the center stand with a block of wood under the front wheel, and put her away for the winter then moved in at ONU on saturday.

Installed my DID chain on Saturday. Found some stretch in a portion of the chain and it was dirty as heck. Decided I'd rather just change it than clean it.
