This 250 refurb completed today, can't do any better than these, note EX500 rail filter plugged in. Tighter, it has more of a tendency to stay put. Found the 250 filter on these displaced and wedged up inside the fuel line an inch or so.

received at 10am, refurbed and shipped back out by 4:30 today. Not too shabby if i don't say so myself. Now bolt on runners, problems included missing pilot screw orings and a frozen in place decel valve diaphragm.

Today 3 items incoming from landscaper to me.

The first, a non-starting Craftsman pressure washer already done. Required a carb pull/clean (NO parts). New fangled carb featuring plastic body/internals......now starts 1st pull , goes into reliable steady idle.

Vulcan 500 carbset refurbed today, using a new general cleaner. Worked out well, restored brass tuning components like new, carb bodies greatly improved over what was received.

These 2 fitties came out no less than spectacular today. Using a newfound cleaner...as clean inside as outside. Wet tested, fuel levels tweaked, ALL circuits confirmed clear...these'll bolt on and GO (the general idea)

Today a set of 4 banger Keihin FCR39 for Honda CB900RR on the bench. A ton of parts, better pics to follow. So far, findings include 3 of 4 pilot jets totally clogged. Further advised bike has sat for 7 years.

Working on poorly set up 250 carbs today. Inactive, dead slides...replacement diaphragm rubbers incorrectly installed, and dead floats.... amongst other problems.

500's done today turned out textbook perfect.

Near done today , a Keihin set from a Honda CBR250RR MC22 (Australian model) aka "Babyblade" here for a "functional clean".

Refurbed original jetting installed, the kit the owner supplied used different sizes....opted to stick with OEM 105/102 mains (note inner and outer main jets are sized differently)

Not perfect, but greatly improved in a visual sense, I do anticipate will be fine runners.

Nope, not the same, but another set of 500's came out nice today. Bolt-on runners, yup. Shiny brass, yup. All original tuning components restored/reused.
