Bike home, what next??

Hi everyone, my 250 is finally home..took it for a spin around the neighborhood today. It has 2,343 miles on it and I'm not sure it has been serviced. Can I do the necessary service or do I need to take it to a mechanic? I'm not a mechanic but i'm good with my hands

You can do smaller things such as an oil change or checking the chain. Do you have the manual for it? It shows what is needed at what miles.
