Rainy season maintenance Ninja 300

Hi all.I've been riding for about 6 months, but not for the last couple of weeks because of the rain. I want to go for a ride, but I was wondering if there is any maintenance or checks that I should do first. The bike is not kept in a garage and was exposed to the rain directly. Also, are there any daily checks and maintenance I should be doing? Any advice or help would be appreciated. Thanks all.

Being kept in the rain keep an eye on the condition of the drive chain and keep the throttle and clutch cable lubed properly.

I would also look into purchasing a water proof bike cover.

Your rainy season is called "not winter" on the east coast.

No need to do anything beyond normal maintenance which includes regular cleaning of the chain and periodic lubbing of throttle and clutch cable.

Based on news reports from California recently; check for mud on your chain, in your carbs & air box, in your exhaust & headers and up your wazoo!

A cover is a good idea but oil your chain & cables before you cover it.
