I love the amount of people who stop for this guy.

Happens more than you might think. A co workers father died from a heart attack on a motorway, he had the presence of mind to pull over. No one stopped, as they thought he just broke down. A cop stopped a couple of hours later & found him dead at the wheel !

We had a guy silently die in our office a few years back. His co workers around his desk, just assumed he'd had a bad night as he had his head in his arms at his desk, but he had a silent heart attack. Was only discovered when the last colleague was leaving & tried to rouse him & he fell out off the chair !

I had the same thought

I don't have much medical knowledge, so I think I'd help by calling emergency services quickly and making sure the road & vehicle were safe to avoid further incident.

I'm kind of shocked that the woman said his blood sugar was ok. Maybe it was in normal levels but not ok for him. My step dad is diabetic and I've seen him go into insulin shock/insulin reaction many times and this guy was acting the same way he did when it would happen. Two different times stick out in my memory out of a few that happened while he was driving - Florida state trooper tailed him on I-75 for miles, him weaving on and off the interstate the whole time. That time he knew what was happening as it started but was still out of it enough to not know what was going on around him. Another time on the interstate he flipped his car into a ditch while having an insulin reaction. At the start of it a person having this happen is still awake, but awareness is not totally there, motor skills are impaired, etc. I would be willing to bet that this guy being a diabetic, that's what happened.

I'm just glad so many people out on the road were willing to stop and help and make sure he was ok.

I think you will find that the guy said yes by nodding to everything, he had a stroke, not a diabetic event, I'm fairly certain he is/was not diabetic, glad the nurse checked blood sugar in response to the mistaken diagnosis, This would explain the normal blood sugar levels, a stroke does not affect them !
