I imagine this was a result of texting. It all happened so fast that I couldn't see what happened. Be careful this season fellow riders.

Had a friend riding his bike home after work and was stopped at a road construction site on the highway along with a line of cars, waiting their turn to proceed through the site when a texting youngster (20 something) plowed right into him from behind....killing him. For God's sake people... PUT YOUR CELL PHONES AWAY WHEN DRIVING. He was only 200 yards from home.

If your temped to use it, imagine it's your friend or loved one that is killed, how would you react?

Amen. Sorry for your loss. That had to be tough to see. People are developing a strong addiction/unhealthy habit with phones.

Driving while texting is as bad if not worse than driving drunk as seen in this video. It's got to end. Pledge to not text and drive today! It will save a life.

WOW , close call ,

you have to expect that at ALL times while riding .

we are only 4 foot away from death every time a car passes us

glad ya made it ....
