Unhappy no spark

following previous posts ive read about putting a resistor in the gray wire for an aftermarket ignition which this bike had previous to buying it the bike would have a rough time starting but would start and i recently cleaned out the carbs but suddenly there is absolutely no spark from either plug or the coils themselves, i started with checking the battery and voltage is fine, all of the lights come on and engine cranks/tries to start it literally just will not give any spark and im confused as to why the only left over connections are these two that im not entirely sure as to where they go, any tips on where to go from here to diagnose this issue?

All I can suggest is to go by the wiring diagram and check to see that you have the correct voltages at the ignition unit, the pickup coil's resistance is 100 to 150 ohms, that all the safety switches are connected and working as they should, etc. Any of the safety switches could be causing no-spark if a wire came loose, for example.

Page 212 shows ignition wiring.
