Shifting confusion

Is it just me or does it seem like hes kicking DOWN the shift lever to go up a gear? Some sort of modification or am I just being an idiot?

That bike is set up for "GP shifting", where everything is reversed. 1 up, 5 down.

@saxnbass - The camera is mounted on the swingarm and moving with it, making the peg look like it's moving.

it also makes the whole front half of the bike look like it's tipping up towards you. Trippy
