Dash lights flickering no starter ?!?!
So when I turn the ignition key to on sometimes the dash lights come on then they turn off randomly also once the ignition is on and the lights are on when I go to hit the start button the starter won't even turn over (bike is in neutral, no kill switch) I've got the obvious stuff checked anyone know what I can do, the bike is pretty much dead and unresponsive???
Thanks |

Yep battery is fine I just found the 30amp fuse under the seat and it was blown so I replaced it and all the lights are back but still nothing from the starter I'm still trying to find what caused that fuse to blow

How old is your battery? Does it have a proper charge? |

The battery is original but I tested it and it's holding good charge so I'm just checking all the kill switches and connections now and hopefully I find something!

The battery may be relatively new and charged up and show good voltage, but it could not keep that voltage under load (the demand of the starter). Please read this: http://faq.ninja250.org/wiki/Battery_stuff

That's what I was thinking so I'm gonna skip the solenoid and hook up the starter to a different battery tomorrow and see if it turns over then I'll know if the battery or solenoid are bad, I'll keep everyone updated !
