Help needed immediately! Proton signals + stock rear signals - lighting issue.

I have no idea what I am doing.

I took the right fairing off, hooked up the Proton, and that worked fine, but the back right signal (stock) stays on. I tried the signals (still stock) on the left side as a test, worked fine.

Can someone please tell me exactly what I need to do to install the Proton's and have the rear, stock signals work right?

You can check out this DIY for the Protons and see how the installs compare (yours may vary though, so don't worry if there are a few differences).http://www.ninjette.org/forums/showt...ghlight=proton

Just reading that DIY, I would say to take a look at your wiring set up:

"Before you proceed, decide how you'd like your blinkers to work. The proton manufacturers thoughtfully provide some options in this department. There's four wires coming out of the blinker: Black, Red, Orange and Yellow.

Black is ground and connects to the black/yellow on the bike side.
Red is your running light signal.
Orange and Yellow are the control wires for the actual 'blink' when given full voltage by the flasher relay.
By itself, orange is for a 'normal' blink while yellow gives you a strobe effect.
When both orange and yellow are connected to power, you get a fade in/out effect. "

Aside from that, if the Protons are LEDs, possibly an issue with the relay? I haven't any experience with Protons though, so I'm not too sure on the possibilities.

That's only for 4 or more LEDs I believe.

Jason, did you install the new flasher relay?
