Lookin good there ator Do you have a CF hugger coming too?

Personally, I'm not a CF guy except for exhaust. I would take the normal panels and paint them to match the rest of the body work.

Hugger will be CF as well. And I do have a CF Two Brothers slip on already in hand, black series. Just want to put on some miles first. Too cold right now.

technically you wont feel any difference at all if its a slip on. I put mine on, only difference is its louder lol. +1 for the black series x-) Bike looks nice too, I look forward to seeing it when you get the full effect of the modbug lol.

Yea, not really concerned with adding horsepower. I will shim the needles and remove the snorkel if needed but only to make the bike run it's smoothest. Mainly adding the slip on for looks and sound.

Thats exactly the same reasons I did mine lol. But a fair warning, I shimmed and removed my snorkle, same night I removed my snorkle, I put it back on. The bike ran like crap. Im considering removing my shimms too, my mpg took a huge hit. But, take this with a grain of salt, because every bike is different.

A slip-on mostly just makes a better sound, but it also reduces weight, and improves throttle response a little. I emphasize little, because likely the increased response/performance is from the jetting changes that you are going to make when you change the intake/exhaust, and not just the exhaust. It makes less change than a full system, because there is still the cat in your OEM headers that doesn't get removed when you install a new can instead of a full system. Also a full system also usually uses larger diameter pipes than the OEM headers

@Mr.E

How many shims?

What was your setup? no snorkel, and a slipon or full system?

If it ran like crap, that just means that you have to make a couple changes, not undo all of it. Jetting takes a little patience and some trial and error; that's all.

Of course the mileage is going to drop a little when you richen the mixture. It's using more gas. What did you expect?
