I guess so, although when he did that I was the only person on the road for a mile. Definitely must have needed that exam huh lol
Got to use nearly all of my tire on the track today, just a little millimeter left of unused tire. I'm satisfied with that. Now to improve my body movement to get faster. I thought I had scraped my boot once but that was actually my peg and exhaust. Certainly be careful of that exhaust @kasierz, Are you alright?

I know Jeremy is going to the hospital because he screwed up his shoulder. Besides that he is fine and said the bike is better off than he is (frame sliders worked ). He told me Kevin was ok.

cost price for the OEM headlamp housing + 2x HID projector, and 6000K bulbs, balast, etc. is around: $550. its all prepared to just plug right in, with no splicing. just hook up the ground, the positive (+) at the Battery, glue, screw or zip tie the balast and hi/low controller and you are ready to roll. oh, and hook up the angel eyes to the small pilot light... which actually reminds me... i have a feeling that the US models dont have these bulbs on the bike! can someone confirm if its true that the US models dont have these small bulbs that goes in the middle? since that is where the angel eyes are powered from... i recall having a discussion about this at some point. if this light is not there, that means that the power lead to it will also probably not be there, meaning that there will have to be a new line pulled to power the angel eyes

Makes me curious to know what the small light is for if it isn't always on like a running light!

When you turn on the key, pilot light's on together. When start the engines, the low beam starts too. Some bikes in selling here have a button switch to on/off the low beam. Wayanlam, if you could find some control like that, with on/of switch to low beam, you could use that switch in the angel eyes. Almost all Brazilian Yamaha have that switch. Look for something like that in Indonesia.

we have the switch on the bikes here in indonesia so we can switch the lights off, small, low beam and high my concern was for the person i am buying this HID for in America, since they don't not have this switch.... so there is no power line for the Angel eyes :S we will need to improvise something i guess!

Probably that angel eye will be wired in the lowbeam...
Wayan, could you buy a brand new control of that and send to me in Brazil? It will be very useful to install some extra lights in my bike.

the angel eyes are connected to the small/little light. so you can turn only the angel eyes on, and leave the main lights off, or you can turn on both angel eyes and main lights.
the projector kit has BOTH HID's on in LOW and HIGH beam. when you switch the how/high beam switch, it adjusts the projector. so you wont have only one light on in low with this HID kit in low beam

Interesting to see that you not only have more lights but you have full control. We only have a toggle for the left hand to flip the high beam on and off. If we turn the ignition off using the kill switch, the headlight stays on.. You have to turn the ignition to off and then on again without cranking the bike to have power without the headlight being on. Any theories on what the small light is for? Surely, it's not good enough to ride around with, right? The people doing angel eyes here typically wire their own switch. |

Hmmm... Yeah, here the law says just you need to be the lowbeam aways on, but thats pilot obligation.
Like that switch in Indo bike's new for me. Nice one turn on/off all light stages. The bikes here have the switch's just for lowbeam, not for that support light. Switch's in the left hand controls in the low/high switch side. Here´s my fiancee bike: You should see the on/off button and the flasher. Sorry that pic. It should to show the new handgrips.

I see a red lever in the front. I assume that's the flasher? It's new to me. I know that's not a Ninjette, but does your Ninjette have a flasher too?
The red button below is where we have a horn but ours is not red. It's funny that there are all these differences when I have been led to believe that they are the same as 50-state (California model carb'd), 49-state (Carb'd), and Fuel-Injected (Euro/Japan-spec) except some countries have different number plate mounts. |

@ Fred,
could you post a couple pictures of your bike? it looks like you have removed the fairings, etc. did you turn it into a naked bike (aka street-fighter)? the light controls on your bike is all on the left side, haven't seen that before. we have the high/low beam on the left, and the off/small/on switch on the right. i wouldn't mind having the flasher button, i had it on my old ninja, (the 150cc 2 stroke). handy when your trying to get the attention of oncoming traffic. if i remember, ill ask how much it costs for the right hand cluster, so that you can mod the bike to have full control of the lights.

Wayan, that's not a ninjette. My ninjette are red and have all the fairings.
My fiancee bike's a Yamaha YBR125. I think that's sell in Indo but not in EUA. Yes, the red button in front are the flasher. Red button in bottom are the horn. My ninjette dont have the flasher too. First mouths was difficult to me, because my ex bike (a Yamaha ybr250) had the flasher and I used it too much. But now I'm using the high/low button instead. In Brazil we have fuel injection but not the on/of button to beams. I love that. We have the same bike around the world, but each country have some lil' things to become uniques. lol
