Leaving tomorrow morning on my first motorcycle camping trip. Only 1 night and shouldn't need to cook anything, but I am a former Boy Scout and father of 2 Eagle Scouts. Still have all the camping cookware.

I like the linked Aerostich Cot, that's neat and can easily be paid for by eliminating two hotel nights.

Good stuff on the cooking side, I usually get the dehydrated meals and use my JetBoil to just boil water. Pour, sit, and stir - instant food!

Right about now: the tent is missing the poles and he forgot the matches! Thank goodness for credit cards!

That's Friday night. What are you going to do the rest of the weekend?

I want to do a bicycle tour carrying all my own gear, then camping and enjoying the land. Dunno if I'll ever get to do this, but maybe one day I can get away for a week or so and do it.

Tent, bike, and luggage worked well, but I'm going to have to pack differently for a linger trip or if I bring food and cooking gear.

I had my tent, sleeping bag, pad, and everything else in the big tail bag. Will probably have to move pad am tent outside.
