ex500 dogbones? take a picture for us. I'm curious. I read about those when I was looking to raise the tail of my bike, but I couldn't find much info at all about them, so I went with soupy's links for my bike. Either way, you'll just need to get some lowering links (that are made for the 250) and swap them out, it doesn't matter what links are currently on the bike.

you'll be fine with ex500 springs. Just get some riser blocks for your bike so you can lower the front on the forks a little bit.

Clip-ons or lowered risers? Clip-ons have clearance issues on the pre-gen.

Woodcraft lowered risers look like this:

You have the stock ex250 dogbones and unitrak link already installed on the bike. Here's what the ninja 250 stock dogbones look like:

If the PO says that the rear shock is off an ex500, then I'd assume that's what's installed on the bike.

Idk for sure, but I think the dogbones in the box are the ex500 dogbones.
