Evolution of "Monster" my bike!!!

Here are some pics of the last few months!!! First Monster energy graphics, then a tank protector, a solo seat cowl, now I just put my Hotbodies MGP Growler exhaust which is awesome, next will be the proton blinkers, targa fender eliminator, and hotbodies double bubble smoked windscreen which fatbikez.com has all 3 of those for $210. I also have frame sliders that aren't installed yet. I think my bike is turning out pretty great!!!! What do yall think?

My bike came with the Monster Graphics. I rode around with them for a while and then took them off. They are more geared for the younger crowd. A 69 year old looks strange enough on a sport bike. The graphics would be pushing it a bit. (When I bought the bike in June 08, it was the last 250 Ninja in the state.)

Yeah but I'm 23 so I think the Monster graphics are ok for me. I think you would be the coolest 69 year old out there with the Monster graphics on your bike too!!!

graphics on the bike aren't my thing, but it does look good. That exhaust looks like it would be loud

Other than a K&N air and oil filter and a jet kit what can I do to improve the performance of my bike? I intend on getting a jet kit when I get the fender eliminator, flush blinker, and windscreen, and the K&N filters next time I change my oil. I'm just wondering what else I can do.

The reason I like the Monster Graphics is because my favorite AMA supersport team is the Monster Energy Kawasaki Team. It's going to be a couple of years until I can afford a ZX-6R to be able to add the Monster Energy feel to it so I did it with my ninjette.: Whenever you implement your design please post some pics I want to see what it looks like!!!!

Trust me I won't rely on how loud my exhaust is. I went through the MSF course before ever riding a motorcycle so I would know how to ride. I'm still learning something new everytime I get on my bike. That's the thing I love about riding is learning, but it is a plus to have a loud exhaust in my opinion but then again I guess I just like loud things. I am an EMT and love the lights and sirens of the ambulance I work on.

The 250r isn't a performance machine (though it isn't a slouch in my opinion)...you're really not going to get much more out of it. The most your going to get is installing the jet kit and having it properly tuned. It will give you a very slight bump in power, but it will make the bike smoother and more responsive overall.

Aside from that, without spending tons of money, there isn't much more you can do to the bike. If you want more power, start saving for the next step up.

Thank you everyone for the feedback!!! I'm thinking about higher rearsets and putting on woodcraft clip-ons what are the pros and cons of that?

Lower bars and rear-er set footpegs made my bike feel great. If you have a strong lower back to support your redistributed weight, go for it. If not, check this out: http://www.shapefit.com/lower-back-e...xtensions.html

They weren't bad to fit, considering they were not made to fit a pregen. They mount up just fine to 08+.

Looks great!

Just curious, does that seat cowl offer any extra storage space? Like, somewhat noticeably more than you have when it's just the rear seat? I mean, is it hollow inside, or just one solid piece?

It's hollow but it has the mounting brackets on it. If it offers anymore storage space it won't be much. I just like the way my rear seat cowl looks.

Just wanted to share with you and let you know what your feeling. I did so much mods to it. I'm probably going to add a rear hugger as well
