Foam grips... should I keep them on?
When I bought my Ninja, I inherited a set of foam grips. I am thinking about getting rid of the foam grips for something else, as the foam seems too thick (1 1/2") and causes me to grip the throttle too much (if that makes any sense).
What does everyone think? Should I stay with the foam grips, or would you recommend another type of grip instead?

imo you should find one that feels comfortable... an old used foamy grip is also probably really dirty from all the sweat of the old owner (if they didn't use gloves :P)
some people just like having something bigger to hold onto i guess, he he.

grips are such a personal preference type of thing.
I'd say try checking some other bikes and find what feels comfortable for you, then change out your foam grips if they are causing you a problem. |

My GPZ 550 had foam grips and I hated them, I suggest trying a different rubber grip and see how you like it, I doubt you'd choose the foam over them.
