why is that?

good find on the brackets. a good quality product at a reasonable price from a reputable manufacturer.... hopefully they will be available for a bit less.

Well the ones I've got installed make me a little nervous, when I apply pressure on the brake lever it seems to bend the metal.... (flex is more the word). I don't like that one bit. I'd much rather original pegs w/ spacers at this point

Luckily, I found $50 on the ground today in the city, so I'll cough up $50 of my own and buy these rear sets. I'll give some feedback once I get them and put them on.

I machined up a set very similar to these for a honda cb 400 f a few years back. They worked very well and I was very happy with them. I am not sure what would cause the flexing. Mine were 6061 aircraft aluminum and i did not have this problem. Possibly they are cut too thin for the application.

Excuse the ignorance - but what sort of benefits do these add for 100 bucks?

They move your foot pegs back down and back. They are especially useful to us guys with longer legs to help us get our legs under the tank lip.

Back about 1-3/4" and up either 1-1/4 or 1 3/4" (approx).

X2 on the long-legs..

Gives it a more aggressive stance, as well.

Yeah, I'm not too sure about cutting the hose, but I'll figure it out when I get them. I might not even cut it simply because I never use the rear brake unless I'm taking off from a steep hill. I'll probably just leave it until I buy a SS line for the rear and replace it with that.

Got on the bike this morning to find the brake pedal *bent* to the side O.o so, I've swapped back to my stock pegs for the time being - ordering these now

Just finished putting them on. It's a quick and easy install...took me about 40 minutes total. However, I did not cut the rear brake reservoir hose, so I didn't spend time bleeding the brakes. I didn't have brake fluid on me so I'll save that part for next spring when I flush out the front fluid as well.

I'll have some pictures later when I take it out for a test.

I installed mine, a couple days ago. Still don't have quite enough legroom, with a 32" inseam, but it's a little better.

I do wish the paint and bolts matched the factory kawi hardware.

I went with the lower, less-radical setting.

My aim was to set the pegs back, with raising them being just a side effect.
