California Superbike School 2017 Schedule!

New Schedule is out!

http://superbikeschool.com/schedule/

I'll for sure be at the Ridge again in July and then I should also be at a few of the Las Vegas, Laguna Seca (in October for sure) and Sonoma tracks. Should be a super fun year!

Please let me know if you have any questions about the school, any of the techniques covered or logistics of how the school works. I just finished off the last school of the year in Las Vegas and had so much fun! :dance cool:

Hope to see some of y'all there!

Misti

Ridge is great, I'll be there 4 days with CSS (Mon, Weds/Thurs, and Fri) this year. I'm also signed up for Circuit in Austin. Will have to see if I can justify any other tracks though.

Keep me posted Yakaru, maybe we can align our schedules. It would be so awesome to meet more ninjette members and include Misti in the fun as well.

That reminds me, I haven't made any receipt art for anyone in a while, I miss it dearly.

Best of luck with your days Yakaru, may you reach every goal.

CSS is definitely on my list but not sure I can swing it this year. We will see how things work out after the first of the year. I would love to ride on COTA and learning with one of the best schools in the world would just make it that much more incredible!

Will do. Ridge will have, at a minimum, myself, EternalNewb, Momaru, and Misti.

It's always worth it COTA is the most expensive on the list so there are cheaper options.

Oh, Misti, just a side question: I'm taking my own bike to the Ridge for Monday and Friday -- given where my skills and problem areas are would you recommend I take the 300 or the S1000? I could, of course, also mix it up and do each for one day.

@Misti,
The cost is not really the issue but time to make the trip. With the wife's family issues over the last few months and the planned trip to Pitt Race along with planned local track days, my leave bank is only so large! I hope to be able to do COTA in 2018 so keep us posted if you plan on returning again after this next season. I would love to meet you in person and ride with you on such an incredible track! Take lots of video and pictures while you are there so we can see the track from a members bike's point of view

Either or. You're problem areas are going to be there regardless of what bike you're on Whatever you choose is just fine.

I totally hear you on the LEAVE BANK. I have an equally depleted leave bank, hahaha. My husband hates when I leave him and the kids to go coach! Hence the reason I can only do a few coaching dates per year instead of full time which I used to do pre kids. I actually haven't been to COTA and doubt I'll be able to go this year so maybe I'll get to go in 2018 and see you there, lol!!! I'll be at the Ridge and Vegas and Laguna and maybe a few other more western tracks....I'll keep y'all posted when I know for sure. I love meeting forum members as well!

Roger that. I know for things like the vision skills it doesn't matter but for others I wasn't sure (my tendency to be too binary with roll on is, at least in part, I suspect from the nature of the ninjette; but I feel I get much better lock in for body positioning on the baby ninja). Thanks!

Oh: I still intend to edit together the video from last year's on-track coaching; I'll PM you when it's up (I won't make it public without your review/approval)

Of course this all depends on work, but I'm leaning towards doing one day at NJMP on July 31. Just in case any east coast Ninjettes are thinking about it also. If I go, I'll be bringing the 300.

Misti,
Does the school have access to small bikes to rent? I'm thinking of taking kiddo and an S1KRR is out of the question

I know they have an F800 for riders who request it, but I don't think they have anything in the realm of a ninjette or something like that.

You are correct.
But were taking a different angle. If were able to get a bike, then this would be a good reason to take a vacation and ride a track we normally wouldn't get to.

Lemme help ya! If your fatherly instincts are too strong and you insist he ride a smaller bike, I will offer up either my 250 or r6 to ride to make your trip a bit easier AND if you schedule the CSS event at the corvette museum track in KY.

Cost? $0, but you will have to let me pit b*tch for ya and a group photo of us with whatever coach he gets.

Fly, drive... just git here and I will take care of the bikes and pit, just lemme know or we can chat about it at Jennings.

There is an F800 as Yakaru mentioned, or you can bring your own bike (or borrow one from friendly folk that want to lend them out )

How old is your kid? I think there is a 14 or 16 year old age minimum.

Ohhhh, boooooo. Sorry. Give the office a call and ask them but I'm pretty sure it's at least 14.
